What is a paintball barrel fin size?
I have a BT TM-7 and i wanted to get a HammerHead Mofo barrel. I know the TM-7 is an Auto-cocker but i have no idea what a fin size is? Is it the size of my gun? Does the fin size matter?
A fin size is a piece of your barrel. It’s the piece that attaches to your gun, then the rest of the barrel attaches to the fin. HammerHead allows you to buy different sizes of fins so that you can match them to the size of your paint. If the fin is too small it will break in the barrel, if it’s too large it will bounce around in your barrel and take away some of your accuracy and a little speed.
HammerHead actually makes really good barrels. They are very accurate and are efficient for many players. The thing is, the technology of rifling is weird, the paintball as it comes out the HH barrel doesn’t spin very much but for some reason is still really accurate.
