Barrel Egrip Trigger
need some help with my paintball gun?
so i have a tippmann 98 custom, with a egrip with a upgraded W.A.S. board and a tech t fang trigger and i wanted to know what barrel would be better for speedball the flatline i have on now or my back up 16in rifled barrel and some of you may say the flatline because it has distance and accuracy but the accuracy on it sucks so im not sure which one to put on for this speedball tournament
To be 100% honest, Tippys aren’t good speedball markers to begin with. The flatline barrel puts a spin on the ball, which is supposed to make it travel farther. In reality, most paintball fields aren’t long enough for this to be of use. Also, the extra spin that the paint gets makes it less accurate, like you said. As for the rifled barrel, I don’t really have any experience with those, but I’ve heard that they aren’t anything special. And because it’s 16in (as opposed to a 10, 12, or 14), you’re losing efficiency, as well as some accuracy, because it’s so long.
That’s just my opinion on both barrels. If I were you, I’d probably just stick with whichever feels best and whichever one you play with most because neither will necessarily benefit your needs. I hope this helps.
