Bottle Cover
I am making a table top covered in bottle caps, i need some kind of pourable plastic….?
I am making a table top covered in bottle caps that I would like to cover with some kind of pourable material that will not only serve as a surface for the table top, but also to cover and hold in place the bottle caps. I know a few people who have done this, but I can’t remember the name of the pourable material that they used.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Decades ago I did a ship’s hatch cover in epoxy resin… FOUL smelling, toxic and a MESS, but it looked great and has lasted almost 30 years now. It was so nasty though that I SWORE I would never do it again.
THEN a few years back I had another project I wanted to do and found Acrylic Polymer resins… FAR easier to work with !! We use EnviroTex Lite High Gloss Finish. The solvent free formula is 100% solids and has no unpleasant odors. Perfect for giving projects a clear glossy finish with depth. Use on table tops plaques documents photos and more.
