Why does my new “color changing” Dutch Boy ceiling paint keep drying uneven?
After two attempts the paint I’ve put on my ceiling still looks like I’ve missed spots or applied it unevenly. The paint is throughly mixed and when applied looks purplish in collor and is supposed to dry white. Instead it has very uneven white markings.
Priming is key when painting and ceilings are notorious for being very porous and looking uneven, You should have given it a good coat of BIN or Kilz first. This seals it especially if there are any water marks. You can still seal it if you’re willing to paint it 2 more times though.
