Cheap Proto Switch
paintball pump guns?

ok so i have a proto slg 09 for about 6 months. The first time i used it, it broke down. Some dude at the park fixed it…for about a couple shots and then it broke down again. I then took it to the shop and they fixed it. It worked out fine in my backyard but the minute i was on the field, it broke down again. That was the only marker i had so I couldn’t get any other gun. Some guy was nice enough to lend me his backup autococker pump gun and I really liked it. Ealier I was thinking about getting a pump gun and the experience i had with his gun was really fun, so I want to switch to pump (plus its a helluva lot cheaper on air and paint) I was wanting to get the Azodin Kaos, but I was wondering if there was a pump that is better than the KP at about the same price. Any suggetions would be fine =)
P.s. DO NOT get the slg, it breaks very easily and other people have had a lot of problems with it.

On the lower end of the price scale you only have a few options. The Azodin KP, an Autococker Trilogy/Sniper conversion, or a CCI Trracer. Of those, the KP is likley to be the best bang for the buck. You can buy it new and they have a detent system to prevent roll outs and double feeding, unlike Trilogies and Trracers. The Trracer would likely be the cheapest, assuming you can find one. I know there was one place online that still sold them new, but 99% of the time it’s going to be a used one you’ll find. The Trilogy isn’t a bad choice and it would allow for you to switch from pump play to semi-auto play by just reattaching the three way in place of the pump arm assembly.
