Dot Sight Tippmann
I have an Tippmann X7, what mods do you recommend?

I have bought a red dot sight for the gun, a rapid fire trigger, and a 16” J&J ceramic barrel. I would like to know if a m4 kinda looking marker looks good with a long barrel. Also i have been told to use a Q-loader and a flexi air conversion, could someone explain this last two? What are the benefits and the cheapest place to buy them? Do you recommend any good sites to get ideas to mod my X7 and were to buy the parts for the best price?

Thanks.

Well, M4s are a good and common type of setup, so finding parts won’t be difficult. A long barrel may look a bit out of place, but if the barrel is too long for your needs, you could always find a Fake suppressor and attach it to take off some of the length and make it look useful.

The Q- Loader is a mixed review item. I thought to get one some time ago, but I’ve been warned that their durability had decreased over time. A Q-Loader is a 100 round pod that is powered by a tourqued spring. It can load from any angle by feeding through a feed housing you must attach to your marker and run a hose from the housing to the markers feedneck. Not sure how it would work with an X7, but I know it’s possible. It really depends on who you talk to on whether or not it’s good.

If it is indeed the Rap4 system they told you about, I will warn you not to get the Flexi-air system. I know of a person that had one explode in their face. I will get a link to the thread and his pictures:

As for parts, I’d use this:

However, these are probably cheaper:

I will advise you to attempt to find a folding stock to put your Red Dot to best use. This way, you can fold the stock to one side and actually see through the scope with your mask on.

Hope this helps. If you want more help, let me know:

Good luck!
