Eraser Paintball
PAINTBALL PISTOL ive played paintball fro 6 years and now playing woodsball i want a sidearm, but what?
should i get the TPX, Eraser, Tiberius, WHT?????
Pistols don’t have shorter range because of the barrel. It takes less than 8 inches for a paintball to gain it’s maximum velocity, although the rest of the barrel length helps ensure accuracy a little bit.
Best pistols, honestly, are old ones, like the PGP or Sheridan pumps. Check ebay for those. They’d be much better than the newer ones in quality, although the newer ones have fancier features.
The Kingman pistols would be nice if they didn’t use a smaller bore paintball. If you were to get one, you’d have to buy 2 separate sizes of paint, which sucks.
Tiberius is good but expensive.
TPX is probably the best of what’s available. There’s a couple reviews saying they jam but the majority have no problems. Jamming is mostly due to the paint you use – it’s gotta be fresh & rec-grade may the best (tourney-grade may be too brittle). Also, the TPX was just released, so it’s natural for some issues to come up. But Tippmann has some of the best customer service so any issues owners have will get resolved quickly.
