What happens when you mix two or more metal ion solutions in a flame test? Do the colors they produce mix?
Hey! We did a flame test experiment in Chemistry, and I’m really curious. When I tried Copper, the result was a blue flame; and when I tried Sodium, a yellow flame. What will be the result if you mix the Copper and Sodium solutions first before placing them over a fire? Thanks a lot!
