GENX Pod pack (paintball)?

Anyone know about this pack? Is is velcro? Does it hold 140 round pods? Is it worth buying for a new player?

Ive never used it but just by looking at it I could prolly answer your question. It is Velcro (almost all pb packs are Velcro) and it can hold both 100 and 140 pods because it is elastic. As far as “is it worth it?”…. it all depends on you. As for me, I would not buy it because of several reasons and the price and name brand has nothing to do with it.

1. I like my packs strapped on tight so it does not move/shift when I run. that strap is completely elastic which means no matter how tight I make it, it will still move around when I run. It is also one size fits all which prevents a snug fit.

2. the strap is too narrow and will not give you any back support and that makes a difference when you play.

3. since the pouches are also elastic, it makes it hard to put the pods in when its on your back. since I mostly play speed ball, this would not matter too much bec I just throw the pods to the side till the end of the game. but I wont do that in woods ball bec I would prolly never remember where i threw it in the woods.
