How do I care for a ripped blister on my thumb?
While doing heavy yardwork, I pulled off my gloves to find a layer of skin that was hanging off the rest of my thumb (about 1/3 the size of a dime so not terribly large) I assumed that I had developed a blister and without noticing that discomfort, continued to work and eventually popped or ripped it open. Now all that is left is the hanging skin and sensitive red skin underneath. How can I properly care for this?
wash with antibacterial soap, cover with antibiotic cream, and use bandaid
