i wanna start playing paintball.. general questions, all help welcome. thanks?

So im planning on starting to play paintballing with some of my friends, and im looking to buy a marker .. and whatever else i would need. any suggestions ? i dont want any “begging” stuff, i prefer intermediate, and nothing extreme..

also i was thinking a tippmann 98 custom, whats a good price for a used one with a hopper, tank, and mask/ goggles?

also someone offered to sell me there Sypder Xtra .. is this a good gun ? it would be around 40-50 bucks with a mask and tank, but the hopper is broken ..

anything else i need to keep in mind or need before i start? thanks , like i said before, all help appreciated .

ofcourse first thing you need to have are the basic stuffs — marker with hopper and tank, and a mask. If your looking for intermediate buy electronic guns and not those mechanical ones, becoz definitely after trying those mech guns you will notice that you are left out and cannot out gun intermediate players. Go get those fast loaders/hooper to compensate BPS of your elec. guns and definitely a decent mask(ill give you comfortability, better visibily and good air circulation to prevent fogging. Secondly body protection, knee and elbow pads are a must, optionals are neck protectors, chest protectors, gloves and a sandana. You dont need these protectors tobe expensive since they all of them do the same job. And lastly a jersey and a paintball pants, before i used sweat shirts and army pants but when i tried using jersey and PB pants it really makes the difference—ventilation and additional paddings. i guess i said it all for starting up for paintballing. i hope i answered your question…
