Hammer Upgrade
Where can I find a cheap 88 key hammer action controller to use with reason? somthing other than M-audio pleas?
I’m just getting into playing music and i’m looking for an upgrade. My requirements are 88 key hammer action and something that is cheaper than the M-audio controller (which is going for $400). I just want to know what my options are but it has to be the same size as and feel like a standard piano!

M-Audio is on the low end of MIDI Keyboards. Yamaha, Korg, and CME all run more expensive.
Reason is awesome though. Keep messing with it. The possibilities are endless with that program.
It sounds like you want something more along the lines of a Digital Workstation though and those things cost bank.
I use the Axiom and I got used to not having the hammer action and full weighted keys.
It’s all about using the sequencer to edit the sounds and increase / decrease the velocity and using some light delay to make it sound more authentic.
