Ion Epiphany
I currently have a Tippmann a5 paintball gun and i am looking to upgrade to a faster shooting gun?
i have been thinking about buying ether a ion xe upgraded, or a dangerous power g3, a Smartparts epiphany, or a smartparts eos, and i was wondering which was the better choice.
I have two Smart Parts Epiphany’s and I like them both. High rate of fire, consistent fps, quiet and a great feel and look. They can be set to fire at 17 bps, which is pretty high. The tournaments I play in are either capped at 10 bps ramping or semi uncapped, and I don’t know what bps I can get at max semi (12-15?). The thing about the Epiphanys is that they require a thorough disassembly, cleaning and lubing after every use or they may not fire two weeks later, and they occasionally break paint, which causes wildly inaccurate shooting until swabbed clean. Contrasted to my Ego 09, which never breaks paint and requires minimal maintenance. Of course, the Ego is a lot more expensive.
