Why is my proto slg is giving me problems?
hi. i just bought a proto slg and i blew 2 macrolines. i had just filled my tank and screwed it in the proto. as i was waiting to test the speed of the gun there was a loud popping sound and i look at the gun and there was a break in the macroline. all the air was shot out of my tank leaving me with only 1000 psi. i played one game with no problems. then after the game i filled it up again and then blew a second macroline when i set it down. i do not know what is wrong. people have told me its the tank and others had told me its the gun. can someone please tell me what the problem might be. i would appreciate it.
Ok normally it wont be the marker. The marker doesn’t really do anything that could cause the line to break. Normally it is the tank putting out to much pressure, or it is the macro line fittings are not holding the hose right and need to be replaced but that’s normally if the line is coming off. Normally if the line is just breaking its because you have cheap marco line and it can not handle the pressure. I recommend buying macro line from macrolineguy.com. He sells good quality macro line and if that stuff is breaking its because your tank is putting out to much pressure. Your hpa tank should only be putting out 850 psi at the most. No more then that. If it is then your regulator on the tank needs to be adjusted or need a new one.
There isn’t much else. Normally if the line is breaking its because the line is cheap or the tank has to high of an output pressure.
