What Marker and Gear Should I Get Starting Out Speedball? Under $300?
Hello, my best friend has a paintball marker and he wants to play speedball. I’ve been looking into it and I have decided it looks really fun and I want to play. What marker do you guys suggest for speedball, also, other than a mask, hopper, and hpa or co2, what other gear should I get? One more thing, i would like to keep this under or around $300.

If you haven’t played before, i don’t suggest dropping money on a mid-level marker like a Mini. You’d want to start out cheaper, in case you don’t actually like paintball.
Try Spyders, like the Pilot or Electra. Package deals should be under $300. Azodin packages, like the Blitz, are under $300, too.
Hpa is obviously the better of the two gas sources, but again, it’s another cost you don’t want to have to eat if you end up not liking paintball. At least there are cheaper hpa tanks for $40. Not too bad considering the better tanks cost $150+.
You’ll need a pack/harness and pods so you can refill paint while on the field. Paint goes fast in speedball, you want to bring enough for a game.
