question about paintball guns?
does a co2 tank work for compressed air? and is the Proto Matrix 08 SLG Paintball Gun a good gun?
You CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT use CO2 tank for compressed air. The pressures are very different and very dangerous. I do recommend using compressed air though. It is much more consistent on velocity and recovery rate. You will get more shots out of a typical CO2 tank but they will not be very consistent, esp during the fall and spring when the temp varies during the day.
As the temp warms up CO2 expands faster and thus your velocity increases. So when it was 60 deg this morning and you had to turn you gun all the way up just to get to 270, when it warms up now u are shooting 310 because the CO2 has warmend up and expanding faster.
