Paintball Jersey Red
What to do with second degree sunburn?
Over the weekend I went paintball with my friends, and living in southern California it was pretty hot so I took of my jersey….bad idea lol. Yesterday it just seemed like a normal sunburn which as a white boy I’m used to getting…but when I woke up today it started hurting like crazy, even if I’m not touching it, my entire shoulder is dark red and the top is covered with blisters, should I go to the doctor or is there anything I can do at home, at least just to help with pain?
Paracetamol & cold packs. Also cutting a cucumber lenghthwise & smoothing it on is cooling.Cold brewed tea (tea bags will do) swabbed on it is also relieving.Calamine lotion or zinc cream on a sterile swab to cover & protect the blisters.Never get this area burnt like that again.Skin cancer is not pretty.
