Paintball Loader
I want to buy a paintball loader that cost under $100 any suggestions?
Invert Reloader – $45 – sound activated agitating loader (agitating means it just mixes the balls around to prevent “traffic jams” near the feedneck). Best for low end electronic guns like azodin blitz or zenith, e-spyders & tippmanns w/ e-grip.
Invert Halo Too – $60 – identical to a Reloader B (sound activated), but i don’t think it’s a true force-fed loader (Halo B & Reloader B are force-fed, meaning they literally push the paintballs into the feedneck & retain some tension on the ball stack inside the feedneck by using a spring-loaded drive cone… i don’t think the Halo Too’s drive cone is spring-loaded but i’ve never seen one taken completely apart so don’t quote me on that). Good for budget speedballers w/ guns like SLG’s, Ions, Minis, G3’s, etc.
Halo B – $80 – the original force-fed loader is still around. The Empire Reloader B & Invert Halo Too were based off this loader. The only difference is the Halo B uses eyes instead of sound-activation. Base model is $80. With Rip Drive, it’s on sale for the same price (Rip Drive is a dial underneath the Halo that you can turn to feed balls, in case batteries die or you just don’t want to turn it on). One with Rip Drive & V35 board is $90 (V35 board allows you to program the Halo, to fine-tune it if you so desire). But for the price, it’s not a great deal anymore.
Viewloader VLocity Jr – $85 – another force-fed loader, a modified version of the halo design. Very light, very fast, actually smaller than the halo but it’s shaped so different that you can’t tell. One of my faves. Only downside is it’s a battery hog unless you replace the stock chip (there’s a microchip on the board, responsible for its programming, but the stock chip does no programming – buy a Virtue, Gangstar or Hyperdrive chip & you’ll get adjustable settings + better battery life). Even with an aftermarket chip, the price should still be under $100.
Empire Prophecy – $100 – here’s where the Halo design has been perfected. Empire went all-out making it lighter, easier to adjust, easier to disassemble for service (easy to service as well), and it’s even customizable. Probably the best deal out of all loaders right now. Kinda wish i had one, lol. The only downside is to buying parts to customize it (speed feed lid, 9v adaptor, different size nose cones, different board interface, etc) will drive the cost past $100.
Those are all the hoppers worth mentioning under $100.
