Paintball Markers
What are good medium-end paintball markers for a beginner?
Im looking to spend around 150-250$, on a medium end paintball marker..what are some of the better markers, that are worth the money..
reliable
durable
good for a balance of woods/speed ball
looks cool..
not a big fan of tipmans..but i really like the tipman a5 sniper?
im not sure
what are your recomondations?
Based on your budget, I would go with the SamrtParts ION / ION EX.
The base marker is between $150 and $225.
It works well for both speed and woods. It fires 17BPS on semi and 10BPS on full auto.
It is very upgradable. This way you don’t have to buy a new marker when you decide you want greater performance.
If you can up your budget a bit, the Empire Invert Mini is a great mid-level marker. It needs no ups out of the box and will serve you well. They have several colors. This includes olive green, perfect for woodsball. It’s performance is high enough to easily serve you for speedball.

Sorry Poco but you way off. If you can twittle 17BPS, you can get it from an ION. Most people cant beat 11BPS. The ION is harder to service then the ION EX. However, just have your local PB tech give you a once over on the marker and it’s easy to care for them. I play every week and I usually use my ION (Upgraded, can do 26BPS on full auto) and have not had any issues with the marker in over a year of play. Also many others in our group use them without issues.
