Paintball Mask Strap
Question about playing paintball?
ok, so my school is starting piantball at this place called pentagon paintball, and im playing.. i have a spyder semi auto, and i have a 20 oz. and 16 oz. Co2 tanks. you can buy 500 paintballs for 15 bucks up there…but you have to purchase their paint…but my question is what should i bring up there for ONE day of playing.. like would i need to buy more than 500 balls(cause i only have semi-auto._ and the time is like 12-3 oclock or something..should i bring both my Co2 tanks? and use both? how many paintballs should i buy.. and WHAT DO I NEED FOR PAINTBALL (masks, that thing you strap around your waist., and what else?
You need:
Gun
Co2 tank’s
Barrel blocking device
Hopper
Mask
Layered clothing you don’t mind getting dirty
Etc.
Semi-auto does not mean much, technically I have a semi-auto and I’ll shoot 2,000 paintballs a game. Others will shoot 500, others 100, just depends on your style of play.
500 paintballs is a little more than 1 hopper and 2 pods so carrying a pod pack depends on how much you plan on shooting. I would suggest a simple pod pack, and a couple pods. Take you hopper of paint and a couple pods with you into the game. After that first game, you can calculate how many paintballs you will need for the rest of the day. did you use 1 hopper (200) , 1 hopper + 1 pod (340), 1 hopper + 2 pods (480), etc.
There is no magical number of paintballs to be used per person per game. Each persons paint use varies by the person. I can use more paintballs in one game than most can use all day or weekend.
Do bring both Co2 tanks, its always good to have a spare. In ideal conditions, the 20oz will get you 1000 shots and the 16oz will get you 800 shots. Bring both since one (though unlikely) can have the burst disk burst, if that happens to one, then you will have a backup.
Something that a lot of people forget to bring is Water, bring lots of water and drink lots of water. Bring low sugar snacks, peanuts, beef jerky, trail mix, fruit, etc.
Keep hydrated and eat something good for you, it helps and is much better than junk food, especially when your out playing.
