How to style and gel guy hair?
I have relatively short hair that are pretty thick and black.
I like to have the medium to low spiky-type hair that tangles off near the tip. I want the hair to keep a wet/shiny look to it.
Currently I use Textureline Volumizing Gel and it isn’t really working for me. It wears off fairly quickly, flakes off dust and doesn’t hold the spike.
I’m gearing towards Paul Mitchell TeaTree gels (mint smells nice)
Any suggestions on what I should do and what gel I should use?
The Paul Mitchell Tea Tree products are very good, they last longer and have a better concentration then drug store products. If it’s the wet look you want, I would recommend you try the Tea Tree pomade. It’s really thick so a little goes a long way, and you can create spiky messy looks or slick groomed styles. It is a little more pricey but well worth it, like I said a little goes a long way so you shouldn’t have to use as much as you would the gel, and unlike gel it wont dry up or leave white flakes.
