Do I have to lube up my new tippmann 98 custom that i just bought at the store?
I bought a tippmann 98 custom premium series at sports authority today. Do i have to lube it up or do anything else to it, or am i ready to hit the field?
You should be ready to htit the field with it. You should break down, clean and lube your marker 2-3 times a year depending on use. Straight from the factory though it should be fine. A good thing to do it to take some paintball gun oil, place 2-3 drops (no more!) into the tank adapter at the bottom of your trigger frame. Screw your tank into the tank adapter. Airing-up will blow oil throughout the gun, properly lubing the internals. Only use about 2 drops, anything more and the oil will build up and attract dirt and dust. Hope this helps and have fun!
