What diet to follow for high cholesterol and gout?
We try to focus on low fat, low protein foods in our menu, but with low caloric intake appears to trigger the drop, along with lots of green vegetables dark. A contributing factor to gout is obesity and it is recommended to lose weight. A recommendation for people with gout is not eliminate fatty foods from your diet because it helps to metabolize uric acid. How are you supposed to lose weight? There are so information there, everything I read on the two problems seems to be contradictory.

Bottome line: advice to lose weight because it is useful to reduce the risk of developing metabolic complications of obesity and many heart disease, which are much more severe than the drop. Less meat, less fat and a lot of moderate exercise!
