Zero Kick Hammer
PAINTBALL ZERO KICK HAMMER/FANG TRIGGER PROBLEM!?
I have a Tippmann 98 custom with a response trigger, it was shooting beautifully, then i put on the techt zero kick hammer and the techt fang trigger, idk what it is but whenever i shoot my gun now the hammer miss-fires and doesn’t comeback all of the way when i shoot, so idk if it is the trigger or the hammer
I put a Zero Kick Hammer in my A5, but I had to spend an hour filing it down to make it fit (the outside diameter of the hammer body was too large). My guess is the hammer is a little too big and is sticking in the receiver. To check, remove the end cap from the 98, reassemble it, and try cocking the marker (look into the back of the marker while doing this), and pull the trigger while pushing the hammer forward with your finger. It should slide smoothly back and forth with no resistance. If there’s no problem there, put the stock trigger back on and see if it works normally. If not, it’s the hammer, if it does it’s the Fang trigger. It’s also possible you need a stronger main spring.
